PATRICIA PEERZADA (SEHAR)
is originally from Washington, D.C., and an alumnus of both Howard University and The Rhode Island School of Design, Patricia Peerzada maintains a private studio in Glenn Dale, Maryland where she designs wardrobes and gowns for private clients.  She shows her line to wholesale buyers and designs costumes for performers such as "Sweet Honey in the Rock" and theatrical productions, most recently "Dreamgirls", and special projects for Smithsonian's National Portrait Gallery and other organizations.

Patricia's love for creating one-of-a-kind wearable art clothing led her to seek control of not only her clothing shapes but the prints as well.  Block printing using hand carved wooden blocks to apply the pattern became her chosen medium.  Patricia selects the designs for the blocks from traditional sources around the world.  She "paints" with the blocks often using rigid repeat patterns or non-symmetrical random patterns.

The line has been carried in stores such as Nordstrom, Toast and Strawberries and Kine Bis in the D.C. area and others throughout the country.  Her work has been featured in magazines and newspapers internationally including The Washington Post, Ebony, Upscale, Dubai Times, Pakistani Glamour, Essence and the bookThreads of Time the Fabric of History by R.Reed-Miller.

CHARMIONE THOMAS is owner of the CHARMIONE’S SCHOOL OF PROTOCOL. Ms. Thomas a proud mother of two successful young women is a committed educator who has been teaching Life skills and Etiquette in one form or another for over a decade. She was the Supervisor and Lead Trainer for employability skills, work readiness and leadership skills training for YITA’s 2013 SYEP program held at Spingarn High School.

Association for more than five years instructing on Life Skills and Business Etiquette and most recently in Northeast Washington, DC for girls ages 14 to 25 enrolled in the “Too Good for Drugs” summer school program. There is no statistical information to show what percentage good manners, charm, and etiquette play in daily living. However, there is much anecdotal evidence showing how significantly those factors improve our daily outlook and expectations in life.

Charmione also taught Charm & Etiquette to the 5 - 8 years at YITA's After Summer School Camp and continues to share her life tools with our "Club Imagine" for the Show Up, Stand Out Program with middle school students in DC schools.
